<\/a>The Bible in 100-Week started by Father Marcel le Dorze, a priest of the Paris Missionaries Association (M.E.P) working in Japan. On the occasion of attending the Conference of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC) in Korea, Bishop Kham, then the Director of the Saigon Pastoral Center, was given a \u201cThe Bible in 100-Week\u201d book. After that, he returned to Vietnam and opened two 100-week Bible classes, with the aim of helping the faithful read and understand the Bible from beginning to end, and at the same time helping to set up groups to share the Word of God in parishes. Unfortunately, after becoming a Bishop, he no longer has time to continue conducting this weekly Bible study program.<\/p>\n

Fr. Marcel le Dorze’s Program is actually 120 weeks long, approximately three years, except holidays.<\/p>\n

This \u201cBible in 120 Week\u201d continues Bishop Kham’s efforts as long as The Lord allows. The purpose is to help the learners understand the biblical texts according to the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church and the Fathers of the Church. It also proposes questions for reflection, praying and discussion after reading each Chapter of the Bible.<\/p>\n
